Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • teaspoons active dry yeast
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs

For the Cinnamon Filling

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup softened butter

For the Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tablespoons butter softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 –2 tablespoons milk

Instructions
 

  • Activate the Yeast
  • Pour warm milk into a mixing bowl. Add yeast and one tablespoon sugar. Stir gently and let it rest for 5 minutes. The mixture should become foamy. This means the yeast is active and ready to help the dough rise properly.
  • Mix the Dough
  • Add melted butter, eggs, remaining sugar, and salt into the yeast mixture. Mix everything slowly. Add flour little by little while mixing. Continue mixing until a soft dough forms. The dough should feel smooth but slightly sticky.
  • Knead the Dough
  • Place the dough on a lightly floured surface. Knead it for about 8 minutes. Push the dough forward and fold it back. Repeat this process until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  • Let the Dough Rise
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Leave it in a warm place for about one hour. The dough should double in size during this time.
  • Prepare the Cinnamon Filling

  • Roll the Dough
