Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups shredded broccoli stems
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup shredded red cabbage
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds optional
  • 1/4 cup raisins optional

Instructions
 

Prepare the Vegetables

  • Wash broccoli stems, carrots, and cabbage. Shred them finely. Place in a large mixing bowl.

Make the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

Combine Vegetables and Dressing

  • Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetables. Toss gently until all pieces are coated evenly.

Add Extras

  • Add almonds and raisins if using. Mix gently. These add crunch and a sweet touch.

Chill the Slaw
