Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 150 g cold butter cubed
  • 4 –5 tbsp cold water
  • 4 medium apples peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 egg for brushing
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

Make the Pie Dough

  • Add flour and salt to a bowl. Mix well. Add cold butter cubes. Rub with fingers until crumbly texture forms. Add cold water slowly. Mix until dough comes together. Wrap and chill for 20 minutes.

Prepare the Fruit Filling

  • Take sliced apples in a bowl. Add blueberries. Mix sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss everything gently. Let it rest for 10 minutes so flavors blend well.

Roll the Dough

  • Take the chilled dough out. Divide into two parts. Roll one part into a round sheet. Make it large enough for your pie dish. Place it gently into the dish.

Add the Filling
